Learning Outcomes (knowledge, aptitudes and skills to be developed by the students)

Developing inner hearing, relative hearing, harmonic and polyphonic hearing, musical memory and the capacity of auditory analysis. Developing the main auditory skills needed for interval calculation reading, sound anticipation (by intonation and inner hearing), rhythmic understanding and adaptability. Broaden the knowledge of repertoire and knowledge of language and musical interpretation.

Syllabus:

Auditory work (rhythmic, melodic, harmonic) with memorization and practice of writing (recognition of intervals and chords, harmonic chains, rhythmic dictation, dictation of tonal and modal melodies, figured bass writing from the audition excerpt Baroque or Classical, saying fill in the gaps and twelve-tone series). Rhythmic reading prayed (slow tempos and Baroque works irregular metrics of traditional music and the twentieth century) and sung (tonal, modal and non-tonal) a capella, monodic and the voices and accompanying himself on the piano

Demonstration of the Articulation of the Programme Contents with the Objectives of the C.U.

Since the objective of this C.U. is the acquisition of knowledge and skills so that the student can intervene in a variety of artistic and musical contexts, the syllabus indicated is selected in order to meet the scope of the issues involved.

Teaching and Evaluation Methods:

The teaching methodology is based on systematic and organized presentation of information through questioning, critical analysis and research suggested by the teacher, complemented with its study and discussion applied to the exercises and activities in class, and with guidance and supervision of the knowledge and skills acquisition process, as specified in the C.U. objectives - The evaluation process is based on observation of the quality of participation in the activities developed during the course, including assignments and other tests, verifying the level of the acquired knowledge and skills as specified in the C.U. objectives

Demonstration of the Articulation of the Teaching Methodologies with the Learning Objectives of the C.U.:

The coherence between the teaching methodologies with the learning objectives is assessed and demonstrated by the very nature of the performance and progress of students in classes, presentations, papers and exams.
