This course provides the basic elements of local Turkish folk music and reflections on these items. Also it provides typographic elements, melodious features, rhythmic features and exemplifying the formal features of local varieties of Turkish folk music. Additonally, instrumental styles and indigenous forms of instrumental sampling of the perform, such as Teke, Âşıklama, Zeybek styles, etc.
At the end of this course have knowledge about the basic elements of Turkish folk music and obtain information about regional differences of it.
Through this course we want to teach to student assessing the stylistic differences between their folk music and Turkish folk music besides introducing with Turkish folk music.

This course provides the basic elements of local classical Turkish music and reflections on these items.
At the end of this course have knowledge about the basic elements of classical Turkish music and obtain information about regional differences of it.
