David Grottschreiber
Studied jazz trombone and arranging/composition in Hamburg (GER), Rotterdam (NL) and Lucerne (CH). As the co-founder and musical director of the Lucerne Jazz Orchestra, he collaborated with musicians such as Dave Douglas, Ohad Talmor, Hayden Chisholm and Nils Wogram, and performed all over Europe.
Writing for and directing bigbands remains his passion, and he is a frequent guest with European jazz ensembles, such as the Frankfurt Radio Bigband, the Metropole Orchestra, the Swiss Jazz Orchestra and many more.
David Grottschreiber teaches arranging and jazz composition at the Hochschule Luzern- Musik in Switzerland.
