2º FÓRUM INTERNACIONAL PARA JOVENS COMPOSITORES
O 2º Fórum Internacional para Jovens Compositores do Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble é uma iniciativa conjunta do Festival Música Viva, do Goethe-Institut e da Musikhoschule de Munique procurando fomentar a criação musical contemporânea e dar voz à novíssima geração de compositores emergentes. Para a edição deste ano foram selecionados os seguintes compositores residentes em Portugal ou na Alemanha: Arash Safaian, Henrik Ajax, Nuno Peixoto de Pinho e Rui Penha. O Fórum inclui ainda a estreia de uma obra encomendada pelo Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble a Hugo Ribeiro.
Antecedendo o concerto de dia 10 de Outubro com a estreia absoluta de 5 obras, encomendadas no âmbito do 2º Fórum Internacional para Jovens Compositores do Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble, terá lugar no dia 9 de Outubro ás 21h no Goethe-Institut em Lisboa um ensaio público de análise pelos próprios compositores das obras que serão estreadas no dia seguinte. Neste ensaio cada um dos compositores apresentará e analisará a sua própria peça, com exemplos musicais interpretados pelo Sond'Ar-te sob a direcção de Guillaume Bourgogne.

In an attempt to broaden and encourage Forum user contributions, the upcoming Ircam Forum Workshops from 28th to 30th of November in Paris, will be featuring a dedicated performance venue for its members.

Ircam Forum calls for existing performances/art works for the opening concert on November 28th at the Gaité lyrique.

This call concern all artists employing Ircam technologies.

The 12th ELIA Biennial Conference, hosted by the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Die Angewandte) on 8-10 November 2012, is the largest conference on Higher Arts Education worldwide, attracting approximately 500 arts and culture professionals worldwide. Covering all artistic disciplines and major developments in Higher Arts Education, it will take place in the MuseumsQuartier Wien, one of the world’s largest complexes for modern art and culture, situated in the very heart of the city.
This year Yoko Ono will be joining other luminaries including VALIE EXPORT, Matthias Horx, Ute Meta Bauer, Gerard Mortier and Shady El Noshokaty as well as a number of up-and-coming artists and cultural players.
